08/02/2011

As preparations continue for a fourth attempt to find the wreck of the Air France Airbus A330 lost over the Atlantic, the carrier is studying 35 recommendations from an independent review panel set up after the crash.

Eight safety experts carried out the review, which focused on Air Frances internal operating modes, decision-making processes and practices that could affect safety.

—The findings primarily concern the company's organisation, its corporate culture and the individ ual behaviour of its staff managers and unions." says Air France.

Some recommendations. in cluding creation of a flight safety committee and the launch of an in-flight observation campaign, have already been implemented.
